Orchestral Music Activities at Nova Classical Academy

Welcome to the 6th year of Nova Orchestra! We are excited to offer orchestra to current string players and will work on playing together as an ensemble.  This class is for all levels of string playing (beginner through advanced) but must have at least one year experience playing an instrument and know how to read music.
  • Tuesdays 8:00-8:30am
  • Students need their own instruments.
  • Registration Deadline: Ongoing │Registration Form
  • First meeting September 27th
  • Advised by Mr. and Mrs. Carbonara

The Nova Strings Concert: TBA

When: 6:30pm

Where: Sholom Home (next to Nova on the 3rd floor) 

 740 Kay Avenue

The Nova Spring Orchestra Concert will be held TBA at 6.30pm at the Sholom Home just across from Nova at 740 Kay Avenue, St. Paul. Please join Maestro David Carbonara and his dedicated and Nova's talented string students for an evening of beautiful music.

String students should arrive by 5:45 with their own stand and music.

    Nova Strings Camp
    June 16-20
    9am-12noon
    Lessons, Ensemble, Music History, Theory/Rhythm, Rec time and more!
    For Current/Experienced String players AND brand new string students.
    Instrument required (rentals from several area shops). EC lists grades 3+ but if someone younger has experience on a string instrument we would love to have them play!
